As from April 1st 2010, strategic ownership of Investors in People will move from Investors in People UK to the UK Commission for Employment and Skills. Responsibility for oversight of the Investors in People brand including development of the Investors in People Standard and Framework, employer engagement and delivery will sit within the UK Commission’s Employment Engagement Directorate.
We at the International Quality Centre have been awarded a licence to provide enhanced services to all of our existing and prospective licence holders and our clients worldwide. These services include identifying and supporting prospective licence holders in additional territories. In order to carry out this work we have formed a new Limited by Guarantee Company called IQC2 Limited which will trade as Investors in People International.
Trading as Investors in People International will allow us to continue to develop the Investors in People Framework in a more streamlined way. Having licence holders deal directly with ourselves for all licensing and support issues will speed up response times to queries, and I see this as an opportunity to enhance the level of service that we provide.
